For 24 years Ringside For Youth has welcomed thousands of guests to an evening of amateur boxing, a celebrity appearance, a silent auction, a live auction and a three-course meal benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa. We were honoured and excited to be invited to attend for Ottawa Life Magazine. FIRST EVENT - Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund
🏈 The Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund held its FIRST EVENT one week ago benefitting youth in sport. 🏅The event that welcomed kids aged 7-14 to a fun-filled day of football skills, drills and a mini-tournament with many special guests including Redblacks superstars on site to help teach. ❣️It was a special day celebrating the legacy of the late, great Ed Laverty and his family's efforts to continue growing a love of football in the hearts of youth in his name. OSEG Foundation + Endeavour Sports Group host skating clinic for local youth
The 67’s season ended too soon, but we have a little dose of OSEG Foundation goodwill (with a sprinkle of 67’s making a difference courtesy of Cédrick Andrée) to lift your hockey-missing spirits. Earlier this post-season the Foundation invited local youth to the 67’s ice for a skating clinic facilitated by Endeavour Sports Group.
Desmond's 67's Game Experience
🏒 Just in time for our Ottawa 67’s to battle it out in the Eastern Conference Championship series, we have a special video to share! ✨ Earlier this year, in partnership with the OSEG Foundation, the 67’s invited 16-year-old Desmond to his FIRST EVER hockey game while he was in town receiving treatment at CHEO. 🏆 The hockey fan had an unforgettable evening. Sports Camp for Children with Autism
The OSEG Foundation partnered with Ausome Ottawa to host a series of specialized sports camps for children on the autism spectrum. Thanks to the generosity of OSEG Foundation donors, children living with autism (some severely impacted, and others less so) have the opportunity to take part in a positive and motivating camp experience.
